Supreme Court Affirms David Mark Led ADC Leadership

The Supreme court of Nigeria has on Thursday 30th April 2026 Reaffirm David mark Led ADC Executives as the Authentic Party structure across Nigeria. In the suit number SC/CV/180/2026 the court held the ADC structure under Sen. Mark as validly constituted

The court voided the Status quo ante bellum issued by the Court of Appeals which the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC had misinterpreted leading to blotting of the David Mark led-Executives from INEC portals

The apex court, in a unanimous decision by a five-member panel headed by Justice Mohammed Lawal Garba, held that the Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal acted beyond its jurisdiction by unilaterally issuing such an order after it had already dismissed a case that was brought before it by one of the factions.

“Giving such an order in an appeal it had already dismissed was unnecessary, unwarranted and improper,” the Supreme Court held.

It held that the appeal that was filed before it by Senator David Mark succeeded in part, even as it dismissed the aspect that challenged an ex parte order the Federal High Court made for service of processes in the suit filed by aggrieved members of the party.

Euphrates Media gathered that the once tense atmosphere in ADC house became ultimately surber upon hearing the ruling

However, the National Chairman of ADC is yet to issue a statement in this respect as party faithfuls are cheered to excellence
