Open Letter to Sen. Osita Ngwu on State Policing

OPPEN LETTER TO MY MOUTH, THE ONLY EYE, WHERE OTHERS HAD FAILED; DIST. SEN. OSITA NGWU

My brther Sen. Osita Ngwu; the Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic, I truly understand the point you're making. I know the protection, the services, and job creation most of us who lives in our state of origin will enjoy with state policing

However, my concern is more of our brethrens living outside Igbo enclaves as well as their business and survival. How could they be protected in Nigeria that seems not be appeasing them any longer?

You and Emeka had made mention of certain provisions in the bill that is intended to protect non indigenous people in various states. My fear is that Nigeria law operational system is usually derived outside its enacted laws, citing frivolous logics -the Judges usually make prejudicial ruling and it remains binding. Apology for this utterance but its a reality. One of this is judicial stand on uploading of INEC Irev result in 2023 where electoral Act had said the contrary. The judiciary only see the extant provisions of the law when it favors their Likes but turns blind on the contrary

Now, please, is their any other measures or strategy Sen. Osita Ngwu, SouthEast Nat'l Assembly Caucus, S.E Govnr' Governors Forum, and Ohanaeze Ndigbo has to protect our brethren outside SouthEast other than the provisions of this unapliable Laws?

This is what am interested in. Am quite sure the Law cannot protect them at the point of Vulnerability. If you say the contrary -has the Law protected Peter Obi Today? The judiciary has chosen him for target; pursuing him from Labour party into ADC and now NDC. Following him to new party he had entered while absolving the old party he had left as now chaste one. They have made an unannounced decision "Peter Obi can never be in ballot in 2027!" What do you do? Do not be silent on this matter, tomorrow it may be you as its Obi today!

My distinguished Senator, where is the famous human right laws as enshrined in chapter four of 1999 constitution? Where is the UN Human Charter of 1948? Or is Mr. Obi not human being and a Nigerian? This similar fate will be what is happening to our brethren in later days outside Igbo enclaves across Nigeria. Remember: Wealth attracts jealousy and Ndigbo has wealth.

To me, State police can only trive if Ohanaeze has some other strategy and machinery to curtail average excesses against Ndigbo in Nigeria that seems to make them more Vulnerable, but I have not seen any

Now, what is the essence of state police today? To curtail bandits, I presume. If For instance Govrs Peter MBA and Hope Uzodinma annex state police and engaged the Fulani Terrorist in our bush, and crushing them to nothing, what do you think Furious Govr sanw-olu of Lagos and FCT minister will do to Idumota, Alaba, Aspamda, Abuja central market, and Awjo? Indeed they will inaugarate theirs' and crush would be Ipob terrorists, smouglers, and fake/Adulterated products dealers in various markets. What they needed is merely to coin grammar, brand them, and issue Executive order and the they immediately become the aforementioned evil. The Govrs of kano, Kaduna, and Borno is never absolved from doing same. Who will now protect our brethren vulnerability when the government, the judiciary, the security umpire itself had failed? With neither any igboman among the brutal police force nor protection machinery against rampaging jealousy -what remains of us?

Please sir, go through this concerns of mine, liase with other SouthEast appropriate Authorities and design, establish safety machinery which "Must" stand for our brethren when the judiciary, the state police, and Nigerian people had failed them, then we will all align with your view on state policing

Please keep in mind that I resorts to you as the only road to salvation because I has no other alternative. Your junior brother in Udi/Ezeagu had missed the road entirely and is now in Oblivion. Please fail your people not, less we perish
