African Democratic Congress ADC Enugu state had staged a peaceful protest to Independent National Electoral Commission INEC Enugu headquarters over what it described as Inec altravires approach in its handling of court interpretations
The protest is intended to compel Inec return the names of ADC's National Executives in its portal with immediate effect
Leading the protest was the newly Elected ADC State chairman in Enugu state and June 12th Hero Gen. Chris Eze together with the zonal Chairmen of the three senatorial districts in the state Engr. Kosi ODumegbo, Enugu west zonal chairman, Hon. Kingsley Acharabuagu Enugu North, and AC Okorie for Enugu East respectively among other party faithfuls, surpporters, dignitaries, new Electrants, and gentlemen of various support group
The protesters originates from Michael Okpala Square in the state three Arms Zone independence layout through Enugu Inec headquarters, and The major cities
Addressing the journalists, the Enugu west zonal chairman Hon. Engr. Kosi ODumegbo who doubles as the CEO of Euphrates Media Globally said its a matter of strict adherence to rule of Law and ensuring unbiased umpireship that Inec should immediately return the Name of David mark as the parties national Chairman in its portal alongside other national executives. He insisted that the commission need to build public confidence before 2027 general election commences
Highlight of the occasion was the lifting of the banner with the portrait of the newly Elected state ADC Chairman Gen. Chris Eze to the protestants cum public
