ADC Enugu State Ag Chairman Comrade Obiora Obetta directed SEC meeting be continued

ADC Deputy Chairman had issued Directive for ADC SEC Enugu state to continue the SEC/Stakeholders meeting as scheduled for 20th April 2026

His words:

Sequel to the latest publication and announcement made by the national Headquarters of our dear party, ADC through the office of the publicity secretary, Bolaji Abdulahi, authenticating our tenure which expires by May 12, 2026, and the powers to take charge of the affairs of the party until the date, I write to formally welcome us on board.

Again, on the 14th of April 2026, at the ADC National Convention, we received a shocking News of the suspension of our State Chairman, Comrade Stella Chukwuma. This breaking News came at a time when our house was in complete disarray and there was a complete collapse of communication. It is quite unfortunate and disheartening that we found ourselves in this stage.

It is the constitutional right of the deputy Chairman to assume office as the acting Chairman because nature itself abhors vacuum.

Having said that, I want to call for calmness and decorum from all state executive committee members.

I am closely following directives from the national Headquarters ably led by his excellency David Mark.

I have personally directed the Secretary of ADC Enugu State, Prince Anyanwu to schedule a meeting and go ahead and preside over the meeting as I am unavoidably unavailable this week.

I want to enjoin us to remain lawful and respect the constitutional provisions of our party while we remain focused.
